Would any of us grown-ups actually care about Shorts if it weren't directed by Tarantino buddy Robert Rodriguez? Probably not. But that doesn't remove any of the joy of the movie's new trailer, which basically runs wild with the notion of a world where kids can get whatever they want by wishing on a magic rainbow stone. Of course, things don't always turn out as planned, with one kid's ears turning into a telephone handset and another set of adults getting fused together as some sick prom king and queen. But then, that's what makes it an adventure, right?

I have a severe weakness for movies about kids who are smarter than adults going on an adventure, so I will probably see this movie and love it. Check out the new trailer at Nick.com, and recognize that your inner child is totally excited about this.
