Who are the luckiest people in the world? With Avatar becoming the fourth-highest grossing movie worldwide of all time, I’d say it’s James Cameron and the cast of the movie, but right behind them is a photographer named Jeff Vespa. Vespa got to hang out with Cameron, Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver while they traveled to Paris, Berlin, Moscow and London for the Avatar promotional tour.

You won’t find any conventional red carpet photographs in this gallery. Vespa’s shots include candid moments, playful poses and even some classic group photos. Any fan of Avatar will appreciate Vespa’s work. Not only is it great to see Cameron and his stars having a blast bringing the film to the world, but it’s particularly pleasurable to read about Vespa’s experience in the accompanying blurbs.
