When she’s not lolling about in the arms of a mythical monsters Kristen Stewart is off on the set of The Runaways, currently shooting in Los Angeles. The movie stars Stewart and Dakota Fanning as members of the real life all-girl rock band which featured rock legend Joan Jett. Stewart will play Jett, Fanning is playing lead vocalist Cheri Currie and now we have the first ever photos of them both rocked out.

Here’s the weird thing. I think this is the first time Dakota Fanning has ever looked like, well, an adult. She’s almost unrecognizable beneath her makeup, blonde wig, and rock-chick clothes. Maybe she’s really going to pull this whole child actor to adult film actor thing off.
