See One Will Smith Movie Look Like Another

See One Will Smith Movie Look Like Another Someone needs to start getting better publicity for Hancock, the Will Smith super-hero film that is in desperate identity crisis. At first I was getting his super-hero flick Tonight He Comes confused with his post-apocalyptic film I Am Legend. Then that problem was compounded when Tonight received a title change to Hancock, pulling its name from Smith’s down-on-his-luck hero character.

If the studio’s lack of distinction for the picture wasn’t problematic enough, now AICN has gotten hold of some set pictures which feature Will Smith standing alone, and sitting on broken pavement. Sound like any other Smith picture we’ve seen advertised? Yes, the I Am Legend confusion continues.

Thankfully that’s not the only image they’ve gotten their hands on. You also get to see Smith’s on screen counterpart, Charlize Theron, lift a semi-truck. What’s interesting is that they haven’t heard anything about her character being a superhero. So what’s the deal? We have no idea (hell, I can’t even keep the movie straight), and neither do they. That shouldn’t keep you from enjoying the pictures though.
