Watchmen is a movie full of cool things, but the one that’s almost certainly going to stand out the most for everyone is blue and attached to Dr. Manhattan. Actually that’s not so much cool as unavoidable. The coolest thing that’s likely to stick out for people is Archie, Nite Owl’s awesome airship.

It’s not just some CGI fabrication either. The ship was actually built, full scale, for use in the film, and now that it’s hit theaters it’s leaping out of the movie screen and landing on a sidewalk. The airship will be on display for fans to see in person, starting right now at Universal City Walk in Burbank, CA through Sunday March 8th. The full-size Owl Ship model weighs in at approximately 10,000 pounds and is: 21 feet & 2¾ inches long 13 feet & 2¾ inches wide 11 & ½ feet high

It’s worth the drive if you’re in the vicinity. The same ship was on display at the San Diego Comic Con last summer, and here’s a video taste of what we saw when we walked up and drooled over it:
