Semi-Pro opens this weekend, I’m off to see it tomorrow, and I couldn’t be more excited. I guess I’ve forgotten how much Blades of Glory sucked. But then that’s the way Will Ferrell works. He’s an every other movie kind of guy. For every Talladega Nights he does a Blades of Glory. For every Old School, there’s a Kicking and Screaming. So if form holds, he’s due for a gut busting, comedy classic. Maybe this will be it.

You know, when I watched the Landlord on Funny or Die I couldnt figure out why Will was letting his hair grow so long and poofy. After seeing the very first trailer for Semi-Pro I know why. I also put this this to you, doesnt Will now remind you of Chevy Chase in Fletch, where he has the dream of being a pro basketball player? Maybe this was Wills inspiration, because Fletch was pretty damn funny.
