What happens to Joss Whedon's "Browncoats" if Serenity star Nathan Fillion's next film, an intentionally cheap, cheesy, fun looking horror movie called Slither makes more money than Serenity? Mass suicide or more mass denial? I'm predicting the latter.

Slither debuts in theaters March of 2006, and we brought you the trailer a couple of days ago here. Now we've got stills from what is bound to be Nathan Fillion's first hit movie. Maybe he'll have that much-deserved movie career yet... no thanks to Joss Whedon.
