“Sex and the City” just wouldn’t be the same without Mr. Big, so the four ladies are bringing him along for the film follow up to the HBO series. Actor Chris Noth, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s primary love interest on the TV show, has signed on for the upcoming Sex and the City movie.

The Sex and the City movie has been a long time coming, with difficulties getting all the primary players to sign on. Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the lead character and is producing the movie, says the picture isn’t that far from filming now.

Despite the signing of Noth, no storyline has been released for the film yet, so there’s no telling how extensive his role in the movie will be. Considering he’s a regular player on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” the role will either have to be minor or something worth Noth taking a break from hunting down criminals.
