Do you think Robert Rodriguez gets any sort of perverse delight out of knowing that in one year he'll be responsible for one of the most brutal, graphic, gorey movies ever made and a stupid kids movie too? I mean, how do you manage a project in which Elijah Wood eats a naked Carla Gugino's arm knowing that next Tuesday you'll be in a studio filming a stupid superhero movie for little kids? That's got to be fodder for either a brutal headache or a wicked case of the giggles. I'm guessing the latter.

Sin City is over and done with, but The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D is almost here. In response, the family film's official site has gone active, sporting the usual assortment of images, wallpapers, and sections you can't visit because they're marked "Coming Soon". It'd be nice once in awhile if a movie site could go live with all of it's content all at once, instead of doling it out like slowly letting go of it's virginity. Today the Shark Boy and Lava Girl website is willing to give you a blowjob, tomorrow it may go a little further. Cut it out! Let's go all the way and let me spend some time really exploring! I guess that's not going to happen.
