Shia LaBeouf Goes From Robots To Terrorists![]()
Shia Labeouf is right on the verge of becoming the biggest star on the planet. In a few weeks he’ll topline what will almost certainly be the biggest movie of the summer in Transformers. Next summer, he’ll co-star with Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones. It doesn’t get much bigger than that.
Earlier this year, he had a hit starring in director DJ Caruso’s thriller Disturbia and once he finishes becoming the new Tom Cruise by starring in movies with Indy and Optimus, the Hollywood Reporter says he may get back with his Disturbia director. Caruso has signed on to direct a new thriller called Eagle Eye, and Shia is reportedly in talks to star. The film is also produced by Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci, who wrote Transformers for Michael Bay. Shia’s involvement seems like a foregone conclusion. Eagle Eye would cast Shia as a twentysomething slacker who, along with his single mother, is framed as a terrorist. He and his mum are force to join an actual terrorist cell planning to carry out an assassination. Actually, that sounds more like a comedy than a thriller. As long as we're talking Shia, here's a little from him on what it's like to be the luckiest guy on the world. The following video has LaBeouf talking from the set of Indy 4, talking about how awesome it is to work with Harrison Ford: |
