Trotting out their 3D lineup for the next few years at this afternoon's presentation, Disney had several announcements about when and how they'll be releasing and re-releasing some of their new projects. First up this fall will be both Toy Story and Toy Story 2, redone in 3D and coming out as a double feature on Oct. 2 for a two-week-only event, the release model used for other 3D releases like the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana concert movies. Until today, I believe, we knew that the movies would both be redone in 3D, but not that they would be released as part of the same package.

They'll also be bringing back Beauty and the Beast, as the first cel-animated feature reissued in 3D. The movie comes out February 12, 2010, not so coincidentally in time for Valentine's Day.

And the last bit of release news was that Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland will be released in regular 3D and IMAX 3D, the first of Disney's 3D movies to debut in both.
