Shrek Forever After Trailer: It's A Wonderful Shrek?![]()
At this point in the long, seemingly endless life of the Shrek franchise, what more do you need to know about an upcoming sequel. The characters you know and love will all be back saying funny things, there will be pop culture references and a sappy moment near the end, and you'll have successfully avoided seeing anything new or fresh.
With that in mind, below we present the first trailer for Shrek Forever After, which debuted today at Apple and can be seen over there in beautiful high-res. There's a new poster over there too, a larger version of what you see above. Everything's dandy for Shrek until, for some reason, he's transported to a world in which he never existed, Donkey doesn't recognize him, Fiona is an outlaw, and Puss in Boots has put on what you can generously call a few pounds. It looks fun and all, and they're blessedly calling it the final chapter, but I still can't really muster up much enthusiasm for the fact that this movie exists at all.
