There’s an Alien prequel happening out there somewhere, but Sigourney Weaver’s days fighting creatures from the hellish depths of space are long gone. Instead she’s set to star in a Disney comedy called You Again and could also join Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s road movie Paul.
Variety says in You Again she’ll star opposite Kristen Bell who plays a young woman returning home to find her brother marrying a high school nemesis. Sigourney will play the bride’s “filthy-rich aunt”. As for Paul no word on what she’s doing there. The film is already loaded with celebrity cameos and since it’s the story of two nerds finding an actual alien near Area 51 while on a road trip, there’s a chance that she could end up hanging out with aliens after all, if not in a proper Alien movie.
