Sigourney Weaver Narrates Best Avatar Featurette Yet
I've been very clear in recent weeks about how very, very sick I am of writing about new Avatar featurettes, but listen up: there's a new one, and it's actually awesome. Narrated by Sigourney Weaver herself, and very much in the style of the Planet Earth series that Weaver narrated stateside, it's a faux-documentary about Pandora, explaining the creatures found there, the element that humans are mining, and even exactly where the planet is located in relation to Earth.
Not only is it a clever play on Planet Earth, but it's also presents the most convincing evidence yet that seeing Avatar really will be like visiting some new planet of James Cameron's imagination. You can find the featurette at the French site Canal Plus (via AICN). Trust me, it's worth it. |
