It appears more than just the average person has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of “The Simpsons” big screen debut. Not only will all your friends be going to see the “big” Simpsons Movie, but rumor has it Batman will be putting in an appearance as well.

JoBlo has an apparently reliable source that has told the site to expect a teaser trailer for The Dark Knight, the follow up to Batman Begins, to be attached to The Simpsons Movie. The actual movie itself isn’t slated until mid-July of next year, but apparently it’s time to start whetting appetites with a teaser trailer.

Very little has officially been released online, so what can we expect from a teaser trailer? Will we get to see the elusive Joker who has rough images at best so far? Will it be an ad-campaign for Harvey Dent like the District Attorney candidate’s website is pushing? Maybe a combination of both, with the Joker interrupting a Harvey Dent ad? Or will we just see a lot of bats? Who knows, but at least we have an idea of when it might show up: in only two weeks.
