Sing Along To Mamma Mia! Overseas![]()
Did you know that Mamma Mia! is the highest grossing musical in the history of the United Kingdom? If you thought your mom and sister were insane for loving the movie, well, now you have the entire United Kingdom to shake your head at. In fact, the movie is so popular over there that theaters are finding new ways to get people into seats all over again, finally allowed to sing along the way they've always wanted.
U.K. exhibitors like Vue, Cineworld, Odeon, Empire Cinemas, Showcase Cinemas and Picturehouse will be hosting sing-along screenings of Mamma Mia!, beginning August 22. Given that it's the 19th-highest grossing movie in the history of British cinema, it's probably already playing in a lot of those theaters as it is. Still, if you're in the U.K. and you're dying to see the movie again with fellow Mamma lovers, check your local listings and prepare to sing along. Hey, you can't sound worse than Pierce Brosnan did, right? |
