Singer X-ed Out
What’s good for Superman fans is a crushing blow for X-Men followers.
With Bryan Singer taking control of Superman’s fate, one had to wonder how he would get X-men 3 made. Fox had the same worries and have thus terminated its working agreement with Singer. Fox and Singer were in the midst of a two year agreement that did not include X-Men 3. Contrary to published reports, Singer never signed on to X3. Preliminary discussions, however, ended when Singer was approached by Warner Brothers. Maybe Fox felt betrayed by Singer jumping ship. Who knows? Incidently, Singer hasn’t officially signed on for Superman. However, he’s currently developing Logan’s Run at Warner Brothers Burbank Studios. Expect Singer to turn Logan's Run over to another director after he begins production on Superman. Shouldn't I be happy? Heck no. I would rather Superman rot in friggin' Krypton Hell before I lose Singer from a 3rd X-Men movie. I don't blame Fox one bit for parting ways. I'm sure they are as pissed as me! I just hope Fox has some sense and hires a decent replacement. This does NOT mean Michael Bay, McG, Ang Lee, or Joel Schumacher. ![]() Got a comment? . |
