There were somehow enough people in the world who liked Transformers 2 that the movie became a gigantic hit, but I'm pretty sure there was one thing the fans and the haters could all agree on: Skids and Mudflap, the jive-talking robots correctly accused of being racist stereotypes, were the worst. Of course, we never expected Michael Bay to admit this, because I'm pretty sure he thinks he's God, but the unthinkable seems to have happened: Skids and Mudflap have been cut from Transformers 3.

The news comes from the forums at Michael Bay's site, where the man himself popped in to respond to fan rumors that the Twins would be part of the third film (thanks for the heads up, Superhero Hype). Bay didn't elaborate on reasons for leaving the twins out of the third film, which has already started shooting, but we suspect it had something to do with a Paramount executive coming up to him and saying "Seriously? You can't pull that shit next time." Rest assured, though, there will most definitely be something else in Transformers 3 that will piss you off just as much.
