Slumdog Millionaire is the latest from director Danny Boyle, and it revolves around an Indian game show. Yes, that sounds pretty awful but everyone who has seen it has insisted on calling it one of the year’s best films. In fact, the quote on the movie’s first poster (which is below) declares it “A buoyant hymn to life and a movie to celebrate.” The quote is from Richard Corliss, who was almost certainly drinking expensive wine when he wrote it.

Slumdog Millionaire hits theaters here in the US on November 12th. Watch for it, and don’t hold any of the above against it. Here’s the movie’s first official poster:
