Sophie Monk is one of those actresses who, when you see her on the cover of Stuff you think “oh yeah her”, but unless her name is printed next to her boobage, well odds are you’ll have absolutely no idea what her name is.

Well her name is Sophie Monk and she’s had supporting roles in movies like Click, Date Movie (where she ate a hamburger in a bikini), and now she’s getting a starring role. The movie is Hard Breakers, from first time writer/director Leah Sturgis and it’s a standard comedy about two hot girls working the LA dating scene, Sophie is one of the girls and according to a story over at MH equally sexy Tia Carrere will play the other.

Our sources (who have asked to remain anonymous) tell us they’re working on rounding out the rest of the cast with more people whose faces might look marginally familiar. Already on board is Men in Trees star Scott Elrod, but newly added is Stephen Tobolowsky. Tobolowsky is a great character actor, who’s been in everything from the underrated Spaceballs to Groundhog Day, where he infamously played Ned Ryerson. More recently Tobolowsky’s had a lot of high profile work in television. He’s had a recurring role on Heroes, and parts on shows like John From Cincinatti and Entourage, where he memorably played the tranny lovin mayor of Beverly Hills.
