Children everywhere are going to want to see Ice Age 3 and there’s no doubt that they’ll be dragging you, angered parent, along. Well, if that’s not bad enough already, how about catching it on Father’s Day? Don’t get dad a new tie or a gift card to Home Depot. Don’t get him a gift certificate to the local gentlemen’s club or a promise not to do drugs for a week. No! Get him a pass to the sneak preview of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. That’s right. On Sunday June 21, 2009, Fox will be hosting early screenings of the new Ice Age movie in 330 theatres. The previews will be exclusively in 3D.

The movie will officially be released everywhere on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. After which I hope Fox decides to finally announce a Scrat movie, or at least a Saturday morning cartoon or something. But we all know they're more likely to announce Ice Age: When Mammoth Met Elephant.
