Spider-Man Set Photos Feature The Death Of Uncle Ben

When Martin Sheen was cast as Uncle Ben in the Mark Webb-directed The Amazing Spider-Man, I questioned whether it was an appropriate use of his talent. Unless you count weird parallel universe comic books, there's no version of Spider-Man that doesn't involve Uncle Ben biting a bullet right after Peter Parker gets his powers. Guess what? The Amazing Spider-Man won't be any different.

On Location Vocations has posted a crop of new set photos from the production that show off the death of Uncle Ben. The scene features Martin Sheen (duh) lying on the ground, and Andrew Garfield, who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man, standing over him. What is interesting about the pictures is that there aren't a bunch of extras standing around, meaning that Ben's exist likely won't be the same as it was in Sam Raimi's 2002 film.

Check out two of the photos below and head over to On Location Vocations to see the full gallery.
