Spider-Man Swings Around New York In A New Batch Of Set Photos

Having lived in Los Angeles for almost a year now, I can tell you that there's something unwholesome about watching Spider-Man swing from buildings in the City of Angels. Spidey always has been and forever will be a New York-based superhero. Luckily, the second leg of the Amazing Spider-Man production is underway in the Big Apple and suddenly it feels like the universe is balanced once again.

The Daily Mail has posted a few new set photos from the production - which is filming under the title Fiona's Tale - and I must admit that they are pretty awesome. Looking back on the Sam Raimi movies, you can really tell the difference between the swinging scenes using CGI and practical effects, so it's great to see that Marc Webb is actually having a guy hanging from cables in New York. It's unknown if Garfield is the man under the mask, but we can probably safely assume that it's a stunt double (I would be more than happy to be proven wrong on that one).

Check out a couple of the photos below and head over to the Daily Mail to see the rest.
