In addition to 300 heavily muscled, oiled up men, those of you heading to the theater next weekend will also catch a glimpse of a man wearing clingy spandex in the new Spider-Man 3 trailer that is supposed to be running with 300, reports Comingsoon.net. The new trailer clocks in at around one minute and 38 seconds, and it’s a good bet that you aren’t going to see anything new in it.

Additionally, we told you earlier this week about a one minute spot running with Heroes and a then there's a six minute clip on NBC’s web site this coming Monday. Frankly, if they do show us anything new, it might be too much information at this point. But that’s what happens when you get the marketing wheels spinning so early. Everyone was excited for Spider-Man 3 before the new year with the massive amount of footage shown nearly six months before it’s release date. Now they've got to keep the excitement going.

Spider-Man 3 swings into theaters on May 4; it might be a good idea to steer clear of any more marketing until then.
