Because your day wouldn’t be complete without some comic book movie news, Stan Lee was recently in New York City at the 2nd Annual New York Comic Con and Superhero Hype! dug up the dirt on his cameo appearances in Spider-Man 3 and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
“I have an even better cameo in the new [Fantastic Four movie]. I’m not Willie Lumpkin, but I can’t tell you what it is, but it’s very funny and I have a few lines of dialogue. They call me by name, ‘Stan Lee,’” Lee said slapping his forehead as he realized he just gave away his cameo. “I have a good one in Spider-Man 3 also, where I actually talk to Peter Parker, I say a few words to him. I enjoy doing those cameos.”
With stars in his eyes, Lee continued to discuss getting his name above the title of a film and actually getting behind the camera to direct. When asked if he was interested, Lee responded, “whenever I’m on a movie set and I see the work the director has to do, I don’t find the work as difficult, but I think standing around and having to shoot a scene over again and over again, and from a different angle and wait while the lighting is changed. I’m too impatient. I couldn’t do it.”

I'm pretty sure Stan had some substantial dialogue in Kevin Smith's crappy Mallrats (1995).
