I think I’m over and done with the whole fantasy thing. Lord of the Rings has left me satisfied and drained. So please excuse me if I slack a bit on covering this upcoming Chronicles of Narnia flick. Had Peter Jackson’s opus never existed, I’d be wetting myself in anticipation over it, in the same way I’m going berserker for Hitchhiker’s Guide. Sadly, C.S. Lewis is left lurking in the shadow of the guy he let talk him out of atheism. Tolkien got both Jesus and a movie before Lewis. That must sting.

To atone for my Narnia movie coverage slacking, here’s a bit of minutiae from Narnia Web. They’ve dug up pretty cool advert to the right that’ll be gracing the floors of your local theaters this holiday season. It’s a wardrobe, with a door into a really cold world stuck in it. Magical things beyond. At some point perhaps Disney will release actual pictures from The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe, till then I’m enjoying all the meaningless and unrelated artwork they’re using to sell it.
