Star Trek Gets A Rating And 3 New Images

Star Trek has its official rating from the MPAA. To no one’s surprise it’s PG-13. It’s significant only in that this is only the third time a Trek movie has been rated lower than PG. The previous two were Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Nemesis. Though really, if Star Trek II or Star Trek III were made today, I don’t see how they get anything other than a hefty PG-13. They’re pretty intense.

In addition to the new rating, Paramount has released three new images from the film. Well one new images and two familiar images from slightly different angles. I’ve dropped them below, take a look:
