Even though I saw Star Trek twice in theaters, I've still spent the summer listening to the soundtrack, thinking about certain scenes, and wishing I could revisit it on the big screen one more time. What can I say, it's that kind of movie for me.

And because the movie gods are somehow smiling down upon me, I'm going to get my wish-- in IMAX, no less! TrekMovie is reporting (via Geeks of Doom) that Star Trek will take up 85 IMAX screens in the U.S. and Canada for two weeks starting this weekend, filling the gap between Harry Potter and September 18's Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

Weirdly, it'll only be playing in some out of the way Brooklyn theater in the New York City, but that might have to be one trip that's worth it for me. Live long and prosper, everyone.
