It's not every day that a trailer for a Blu-Ray release merits a trailer, and a new trailer that features brand-new footage at that. But it's safe to say the Blu-Ray release of Star Wars: The Complete Saga is not like most releases, and in fact could be the biggest and most-anticipated Blu-Ray release this year. As befits the massive hype that comes along with anything Star Wars, a big new trailer for the set has debuted online; take a look at it below and sing along with "Duel of the Fates," which is still a great theme song despite having debuted with the first of the terrible prequels.

The trailer is technically for UK audiences, and they're actually the lucky ones-- the set hits shelves there on September 12, while here in North America we have to wait until September 16. As you see in the trailer, the set comes with 40 hours of special features, including some of that new content glimpsed in the trailer, along with deleted and alternate scenes, documentaries, and apparently spoofs. Also, kindly, you can opt only to buy Episodes 4-6, a.k.a. the original Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. If you're a parent, this is your opportunity to convince your kids those are the only three Star Wars movies that exist. The power is yours, young Skywalker.

Below are all the details from the Blu-Ray press release sent out in May. If you're the pre-ordering type, all six can be pre-ordered from Amazon for a pretty reasonable $90.
