After numerous Fanboy theories on the title of the new Star Wars flick, let it all be put to rest right now.

It is being confirmed all over, including the official Star Wars website. Next Summer look for Star Wars - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, a title highly reminiscent of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi’s original style and title design.

The title was announced this weekend over at the San Diego Comic-Con by Steve Sansweet, Director of Content Management and Head of Fan Relations for Lucasfilm. He said “For some time now, the naming of a new Star Wars movie has taken on some special meaning among core fans, who love to take part in guessing games before a title is announced, and then engage in debate once it is. Let the Debates Begin".

Revenge of the Sith hits theatres May 2005.
