Bruce Willis, who? Jason Statham is the new baldie action hero in town. He may not have slept with Demi, but he’ll have no problem kicking your ass if you bring that to his attention.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Statham will star in the action-packed film Crank, recently picked up by Lions Gate Films and Lakeshore Entertainment. The film stars Statham as a hit man who finds out he has been poisoned (and not the kind you get from KFC). He goes on a bad-ass one day rampage to seek revenge against the people who did this to him, and in the meantime try and keep himself and his girlfriend alive.

Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor wrote the screenplay, and they will both direct their debut film. Principal photography will begin in late October in Los Angeles. Be prepared to watch Statham bring his rivals down in a blaze of glory.
