As if True Blood fans weren't already entirely sick of Bill Compton's endless swooning towards the naïve, involuntary-psychic Sookie Stackhouse, shorter-than-he-looks Stephen Moyer and frequently naked Anna Paquin flood the media with their off-screen engagement as well. So not only do I have to suffer through Moyer's constant “SOOKEHHH!”ing, but the internets seem to think that I want nothing more than to see loads of pictures of them holding hands and drinking coffee at Starbucks.

For those of you who can't seem to get enough of these two, Dread Central announced that they'll be appearing together in Open House, about a couple who host an 'open house' (clever title eh? I wonder which of them will say, “Let's have an OPEN HOUSE!” and then wink cleverly at the camera) in an attempt to sell their estate. Insert thriller aspect: one of the potential buyers takes up residence in the home unbeknownst to the owners, presumably just to be a dick and eventually throw a murder down on the happy couple.

Open House will be the directorial debut of Paquin's brother Andrew, who also penned the script and whose resume tells us absolutely nothing about what we should expect. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Paquin and Moyer are going to make googly eyes at each other for about 25 minutes, they're going to be shooting concerned scowls in each others' direction for roughly the next 30 minutes, then they'll wrap up with 40 minutes of Moyer yelling “JENNEH! HWHERE ARE YOU!?” in a frustrating accent, pronouncing the H before the W, while Paquin screams loudly from off screen.

There's no release date set, but IMDB is claiming that Open House is in post-production, so conveniently it should wrap up post and start marketing right around the time the True Blood season 3 premiere airs creating a promo utopia. So look for this one in about seven months.
