Remember the big feud Samuel L. Jackson started with the hip-hop community by dissing the then recent trend of rappers turning into actors? He even made it a point to publicly refuse a role in 50 Cent’s terrible movie, on general principle. Well, that lasted about 15 minutes.

In his next movie, Samuel L. Jackson stars opposite Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci, and his old friend 50 Cent in a movie about four soldiers trying to readjust to normal life after a long tour of duty in Iraq. So much for principles.

I’m sure Sam had his reasons. Maybe the material was just too The movie is called Home of the Brave, and from what I’ve seen of it so far it looks good. Today MGM sent me the first two stills released from the film, featuring desert cammo Jessica Biel and Hummvee Sam Jackson.
