Street Fighter Poster

By Josh Tyler: 2008-10-14 00:16:08
The Japanese official site for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li has popped online, and with it has come the movie’s first, Kreuk-centric teaser poster. Kristin Kreuk stars in the film as Chun Li, best known as the hair-in-a-bun videogame fighter from the once popular series of Street Fighter fighting games.

In theory, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li opens here in the United States on February 27th . So far though, Fox hasn’t bothered to market the thing anywhere outside of Asia. Maybe there's more residual heat on this thing over in Japan? Here’s the Japanese poster:

Kristin is needed back at Smallville. It's not the same show without her. Kristin come back

  1. John Says:

    carlsandborn,

God no!! Now that she's gone that show can move forward.

Smallville still sucks even without Lana sir. Unless your a Clois shipper or something I really dont see any appeal to it and its further from covering any ground in the Superman mythology. Personally I never thought she was as bad as people made her out of to be and compared to Chloe and Lois, shes actually far less annoying.

Back to Street Figther though, I think Fox knows this movie isnt that good hence the light marketing stateside. Keep in mind this is all also a somewhat unusual movie in that its only being made to be tied into the new game rather than the other way around or being a stand alone adaptation. This movie still sounds very bad and Im afraid it lacks even the B-movie laughable appeal of the Van Damme one.

I like Kristin Kreuk and I genuinely believe she can be a good actress contrary to the feelings on the net but I wish she had better roles to choose from, she seems like a very charasmatic person on her site and in interviews but her roles are devoid of that.

Can Joss Whedon or Rob Thomas give her a vehicle? Wishful thinking of course.....

  1. Ryan Says:

    I can't read that.

  1. John Says:

    prophecy_projectz,

When did I ever say that Smallville was good? I never said she sucked either, I did however say that the show could now move forward and finally...

    drumb roll please...

    END!

I also know the Superman mythology very well thank you, don't assume everyone on the net talks out of thier butt.

  1. LanaRox Says:

she`s not in smallville anymore?oh that esplaiun why the rating keep getting LOW AS HELL this season!

  1. JJ Says:
