Summit’s Best Comedy Golden Globe nominee Red came out last year and managed to at the very least send people away feeling entertained, and even managed to make its money back and then some. Budgeted at $58 million and grossing $164 million worldwide, Red’s performance has not-surprisingly sparked a sequel.

Last week writers were hired to work on the script and now Summit has greenlit the follow-up to the Bruce Willis/Helen Mirren starrer in which aging CIA operatives refusing to leave behind their exciting lives for one in retirement. According to a press release found at HeyUGuys, though there are no confirmed deal with the movie's stars, Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, and John Malkovich are expected to return.
