Hot on the heels of the poster released yesterday, Weinstein has sent out the first official still from their parody flick Superhero Movie. In it, after being bitten by a genetically altered dragonfly, high school loser Rick Riker (Drake Bell) develops superhuman abilities and becomes a costumed crime fighter known as “The Dragonfly.” In the photo below he faces off against his arch enemy, supervillain The Hourglass. If he looks familiar, it’s because he’s played by Christopher McDonald who, along with alligators, is also Happy Gilmore’s arch-enemy.
Superhero Movie makes a mockery out of the movies on April 28th. Take a look:
