At this point we have a pretty good idea about what Henry Cavill is going to look like as Superman in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. In addition to the first official still that was released last year, we've seen many, many set photos that have shown off the brand new costume. The problem, however, is that many of those pictures suffered from poor lighting and low-resolution that prevented us from seeing some of the smaller details of the suit. Now a new behind-the-scenes picture has surfaced online and while there is a small child in the way, it does give us our first really clear look at what the new Man of Tomorrow looks like.

As you can see, this picture reveals a good amount about the costume: you can see the details on the fabric, the gauntlets around his wrists, the lack of red underwear, and even some of the trim on his thigh. Hell, it even gives us a look at what it might look like should Superman actually kneel before Zod. It's not optimal, but it's not half bad either.

Currently in production, Man of Steel also stars Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Russell Crowe, Harry Lennix, and Christopher Meloni. The film arrives in theaters on June 14, 2013 and you can read more about it in our Blend Film Database.
