Prepare to be absolutely underwhelmed. IGN Filmforce has just debuted what they claim is the first official teaser poster from the upcoming movie Superman Returns. I say claim, because I just don’t want to believe that Singer's staff could possibly be this un-creative. What they've done is taken the symbol we've all already seen released on the web and simply added text at the bottom of it. I hope they didn't have to actually pay someone to do it.

It's particularly disappointing, since there's already been a ton of really great fan posters floating around for the film. In fact, they've been featuring those fan posters on the movie's official site, BlueTights.net. Any one of those would have been preferable to this. Seriously Bryan, we had enough with the logo marketing back with Batman, and it wasn't even original then. They'd already done it to death with the original Superman films… all of which did a helluva lot better job of it than this.
