I’ll admit that I’m still not happy about Singer leaving X-Men 3 and allowing Halle Berry to ruin it. Sorry Stuart, I can’t let it go. However, I will say that Singer is an outstanding director and I’m enjoying what I’ve seen so far out of the Superman camp. Today, we received some more promotional pics from Superman Returns and as happy as I was with the trailer, the pictures remind me of exactly what could doom this project.

The main fear that everyone has involves the cast. No one is worried about Kevin Spacey but anybody who claims to 100% confidence in Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth are obviously delusional fanboys. Did I say they were going to stink up the screen? No, but nothing about their past gives me great confidence. Bosworth seems passable but everytime I see Routh, I get the image of my daughter playing dress up with her Ken Doll.
