Another casting tidbit for the G.I. Joe movie has just popped up on our radar. This time it concerns the character of Cover Girl, who IESB says will appropriately enough, be played by a cover girl.

Their sources say Czech Supermodel Karolína Isela Kurková will be cast to play the character. If you’ve seen Karolina anywhere before, it was probably in your dreams after seeing her prancing around scantily clad in a Victoria Secret commercial. Her acting experience is nil, but then that’s probably ok because she’ll get the automatic pretty girl talent “bump” hot chicks always seem to get.

As you all know by now, I know absolutely nothing about G.I. Joe, so I’m not even going to attempt to explain who the character of Cover Girl is. I have no idea. Luckily, Wikipedia always has an idea and here’s what they say about the character: “Prior to joining G.I. Joe, Cover Girl was a highly successful fashion model from Peoria, Illinois who graced the covers of countless magazines, but she found the world of modeling unfulfilling and joined the army to seek out new challenges in life. She is one of G.I. Joe's tank jockeys, specializing in the Wolverine missile tank.”
