At New York Comic Con a few months ago there was a big, brief and weird promotion for the Bruce Willis action movie Surrogates, which comes out September 25. But otherwise everything has been quiet around this one, and maybe for good reason-- the damn thing isn't even finished yet.

Over Easter weekend the Surrogates crew blocked off a section of Los Angeles to film reshoots for the film, replacing Bruce Willis with a stunt double in a weird evocation of the movie's theme (humans stay at home while their clone surrogates do all the dirty work for them). The Bad and Ugly has some photos from the set, lots of them of Bruce Willis' stunt double, who really does look convincingly similar.
