Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are a pair of the hottest tickets in Hollywood right now, despite Stewart's inability to be human during interviews and Lautner's lack of experience in the industry. With the Eclipse release standing on our doorstep, we will likely see nothing but news about them until well after the movie opens, starting with Moviehole's brief chat with the reluctant werewolf and awkward fang banger.

Everybody should know that Lautner has taken on the role of Stretch Armstrong for the upcoming action figure adaptation, but at least there's this-- according to Lautner the film won't be happening for quite some time, so we won't have to worry about avoiding it until 2011:

"It's not happening for a while though, about a year from now. I'm doing a movie called Abduction which starts in about a month. Then Breaking Dawn. And hopefully Stretch after that."

Kristen Stewart has been somehow rumored to be replacing Angelina Jolie in Timur Bekmambetov's Wanted franchise, but gracefully skirts the subject by diverting back to the final Twilight film.

"Right now, I have two projects lined up. I'm doing On the Road thissSummer and then I'm doing Breaking Dawn. So other than that I have nothing 'nailed down'."

I'm not sure how those rumors got started, but just for the record Timur, that would not be a good casting call. Just saying. The actors behind Twilight will be understandably busy for the next few years even after the franchise fizzles out. They put teenage butts in seats and that's pretty much the only prerequisite of a good actor these days. The real question is whether or not they will take roles outside of the teen vamp series and actually start long, illustrious careers with them.
