Teaser Poster For Doubt

By Katey Rich: 2008-08-04 23:34:46
How do you get people to see a movie about a nun that's based on a play? According to the new teaser poster for Doubt, you play up the big names that are in the movie and play up the religious imagery. Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams' names are big parts of the new poster, but so is a gigantic cross that turns into the shape of a church-- a sign that the movie won't just be about religion, but about religion as an overwhelming part of peoples' lives.

Check out the full, gigantic image of the poster, and get an idea of the movie that is poised to be a giant part of the upcoming Oscar season. Yes, it's already that time again! And with those three names from the poster behind it, it's impossible that Doubt won't be a contender. Hey-- it has the church on its side, right?
