If you're not excited for the holiday season release of The Princess and the Frog, you either have no interest in classic hand-drawn animation, or you have no heart. Because come on! The year we inaugurate our first black president, we also have the first black Disney princess, in a movie that involves Randy Newman songs! If you are against Randy Newman, you are truly against America.
Anyway, just to get you excited in case you're not, Cinematical hosted the debut of the poster, which we've reproduced in a smaller version below. Look at all the character detail! The moody blue light! The beautiful princess! Sorry, just had a flashback to my Ariel-loving kindergarten self. But if The Princess and the Frog turns out to be good, hopefully the entire movie will have that effect on all of us.
