I'm not remotely excited about Angels & Demons, even though I read the book (yeah, shut up, it was a quick read), but I have to admit the movie's first teaser poster is pretty impressive. Posted by Kvikmyndir.is, which is written in a language I can't even identify, much less read, the poster is simple and elegant, showing an overview of Rome, where the movie is set, without giving much information about the plot. That's OK; the plot is pretty complex, and way too similar to The Da Vinci Code to give away at this point.
The movie doesn't come out until May 2009, and we'll all be obsessing over Star Trek by then anyway, but Tom Hanks and Dan Brown fans can get excited over this excellent teaser art anyway. Check out Kvikmyndir.is for the full-size version of what you see up at right.
