Teaser Trailer For Cameron Crowe's Pearl Jam Documentary Tells The Origin Of The Band's Name![]()
Back in 2009, Pearl Jam released the first single off of their new album, Backspacer. A song called "The Fixer," the song was promoted with a music video directed by none-other-than Cameron Crowe. The choice of director made perfect sense, as Crowe has been working on a then-untitled documentary about the band, from their start in Seattle, Washington to their twentieth anniversary. Now Spin has posted the film's first trailer.
As much a clip as it is a teaser - it clocks in at only 33 seconds and all of the footage is taken from one scene - the video doesn't tell us much about the film, but it does quickly explain the origin of something important: the band's name. It's a fun little trailer, but hopefully we get something a little more substantial in the run up to the film's release in September. Check out the trailer below. |
