I get a little nervous when teaser trailers start throwing around the words “beyond imagination”. It’s so overused and very rarely actually true. In the case of Terry Gilliam though, I can’t imagine anything better to describe the kind of work he usually puts up on film.
Beyond imagination is being used to describe Gilliam’s next flick, and Heath Leger’s last, in the teaser trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. It’s been tossed up online courtesy of Quickstop Entertainment. It’s not so much a complete trailer as a look at what they’re doing with the film, as introduced and described by Gilliam himself.
