We can put to rest those dire rumors that started circulating late last week here. It’s unlikely that Terminator 4 is actually being shut down, since today HR is reporting that they’re still casting. They say an actress named Moon Bloodgood is in talks to play the film’s female lead.
Bloodgood will play a tough as nails member of John Connor’s human resistance in the Skynet conquered future. She’ll star alongside Christian Bale as John Connor, Sam Worthington, Josh Brolin, and Anton Yelchin, all of whom are already in the cast. If you know Moon Bloodgood from anything, it’s probably the short-lived NBC series Journeyman. Actually it’s probably from the pages of Maxim, but let’s pretend she’s actually an actress and not just a nookie girl. She’s also in the new Street Fighter movie, which is currently filming.
