OK, y'all, I know it's time to get pumped for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. And I know you want to get your hands on every piece of information that comes out and prepare to see Batman play John Connor. And I'm with you-- even though I'm no die-hard fan of the series, the concept and cast alone are enough to get me in the seats next summer. But I have to say, after reading this possible spoiler over at Ain't It Cool, I'm kind of sad I bothered. Because, while it's just a rumor, it's a rumor that could mean some strange, strange things for this intended reboot of the series. SPOILER WARNING. If you read the rest of this article, you may or may not have the entire movie ruined for you.OK, so here's the deal. The main character of the film is apparently a guy named Marcus, who is a kind of cyborg-human hybrid. He died in 2003, but had Terminator made out of his body after the fact. Basically he's got human skin on the outside, Terminator shell on the inside, and a beating heart in the middle. Marcus joins John Connor in the resistance fight against SkyNet, and then... well, let's let AICN source Dr. Silberman explain. "At the end of the movie John Connor is fighting a T800 model 101 and loses. He dies and the top resistance people come up with a plan to help the resistance keep fighting on. The resistance feels that it's important to keep the image or idea that John Connor is still alive so the resistance keeps going. So they rip off Marcus' skin and put John Connor's on the skeleton so now Marcus is John Connor." That's right. John Connor, the hope for humanity, will become a Terminator, just like the ones he's been trained to fight. On one hand-- and I may get slammed for this-- that's kind of cool. You know, like bizarro evil Spider-Man, or the entire movie Face/Off. On the other hand... bizarro evil Spider-Man destroyed Spider-Man 3, and seriously, can one character make it to a sequel without being fundamentally changed? I have a feeling the real fans will get a lot more worked up about this than I have, but even I, a total dunce, can tell this is probably a bad plan. What on earth do you do with RoboConnor in the second two movies? Will Christian Bale stand for this? James Cameron, I never thought I'd say this, but you're our only hope! all i can say is its a cool idea but the way it is writen is totaly not believable,its fake.
