While walking around the New York Licensing Expo, the guys at MTV stumbled on the image to your right. The first ever teaser poster for McG’s Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. It’s a little hard to make out, but it looks like they’re going with robot heads. Unfortunately, they’re also still going with that terrible, terrible name. If I ever see this poster, I may be tempted to take a Sharpe to it and correct that mistake. But that would be vandalism and that would be wrong.
If you click over to MTV where they have a larger version of the image, you’ll see that at the bottom there’s a tagline: “Becoming Self-Aware Memorial Day 2009”. Apparently there’s also some sort of disclaimer which says the movie’s first trailer will be released on July 18th with The Dark Knight. Appropriate, what with the Christian Bale connection.
